Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, is one of the Trimurti, the holy trinity that includes Vishnu and Shiva. Often depicted with four faces, each looking in different directions, Brahma symbolizes his all-seeing nature and mastery over the four Vedas. He is usually shown seated on his vahana Hamsa. He is also seen as emerging from the navel of Vishnu, holding sacred texts, a rosary. Despite his significant role in creation, Brahma is less worshipped in contemporary Hindu practices compared to Vishnu and Shiva.
