Baby Krishna, also known as Bala Krishna or Gopal, is a beloved figure in Hindu mythology, representing the playful and mischievous early years of Lord Krishna. His childhood stories are famous for his divine acts, such as stealing butter, playfully teasing the Gopis (milkmaids), and performing miracles that showcase his divinity even as a child.

One of the most famous tales is that of Krishna stealing butter from his mother's pots, earning him the nickname Makhan Chor (butter thief). Another well-known story is when baby Krishna opened his mouth, revealing the entire universe to his mother, Yashoda, who was amazed at her child's divine nature.

These stories emphasize Krishna's role as a divine incarnation who brings joy, love, and wisdom, even in his innocent and playful form as a child. Baby Krishna is often depicted with a flute, surrounded by cows, or playing with other children, symbolizing the joy and simplicity of divine love.
