Samayapuram Mariamman is a revered Hindu deity worshipped primarily in Tamil Nadu, India. She is considered a powerful goddess associated with health, protection, and curing illnesses, particularly smallpox and other infectious diseases. The Samayapuram Mariamman Temple, located in the town of Samayapuram near Tiruchirappalli, is one of the most significant shrines dedicated to her. Devotees from across the region visit the temple to seek her blessings, especially during the annual festival, which attracts large crowds and includes various rituals and offerings. Mariamman is also believed to be a form of the goddess Parvati, and her worship emphasizes the themes of healing, maternal protection, and the well-being of communities.
Our artwork is digitally crafted on genuine gold-leaf–inspired paper, imparting a timeless sepia warmth with gracefully muted hues and radiant golden highlights. Each piece evokes the nostalgia of heritage art — softly luminous, richly detailed, and visually meditative — preserving the charm of age-old craftsmanship through a modern digital medium.
Note: These artworks are not three-dimensional.
