Sri Banashankari Amma is a form of the goddess Parvati, worshipped predominantly in Karnataka, especially at the Banashankari Amma Temple in Badami. She is revered as a protective mother goddess who dispels fear and protects devotees from misfortunes and evil forces. The temple is a significant pilgrimage site, and the goddess is depicted seated on a lion, symbolizing strength and courage. Devotees worship Banashankari Amma for protection, good health, and well-being, and the annual Banashankari Jatre (fair) is a major religious event celebrated in her honor.

Our artwork is digitally crafted on genuine gold-leaf–inspired paper, imparting a timeless sepia warmth with gracefully muted hues and radiant golden highlights. Each piece evokes the nostalgia of heritage art — softly luminous, richly detailed, and visually meditative — preserving the charm of age-old craftsmanship through a modern digital medium.

Note: These artworks are not three-dimensional.
If you wish to experience this design in full 3D relief with authentic gold foil and layered depth, please visit our Tanjore Painting section, where we can recreate the same artwork using traditional techniques and materials.
