Tirupati Balaji is a form of Lord Vishnu, also known as Venkateswara, Govinda, or Srinivasa. He is worshipped at the Tirumala Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh, one of the richest and most visited temples in the world. Devotees believe that Tirupati Balaji grants prosperity, happiness, and liberation from the cycle of birth and death.
*Padmavati*, also known as Alamelu or Alarmelu Mangai, is the consort of Lord Venkateswara. She is worshipped at the Padmavathi Temple in Tiruchanur, near Tirupati. According to legend, Padmavati is an incarnation of Goddess Lakshmi, who appeared on Earth to marry Lord Venkateswara. Devotees seek her blessings for health, wealth, and marital harmony.
The temples of Tirupati Balaji and Padmavati are closely associated, and many pilgrims visit both to seek the blessings of the divine couple. Their worship is central to the spiritual lives of millions, and the temples play a significant role in the cultural and religious fabric of the region.
